Dave Kissel is a Partner at Zocalo Group, Omnicom's only agency dedicated to driving sustainable word of mouth and brand evangelism for its clients, both online and offline.

Dave joined Zocalo Group in March, 2008, bringing with him more than 20 years of accomplishments in building brands and businesses as an agency and client leader.  Dave has helped achieve enterprise growth for companies of all sizes through marketing innovation across business-to-consumer and business-to-business channels, in a variety of industries.

Prior to joining Zocalo Group, Dave held successive senior leadership roles at DDB Chicago, the largest office of the world's most awarded global advertising network.  In leading the agency's largest business, State Farm, Dave oversaw the Fortune 20 company's entire marketing communications process.  He helped design and craft marketing strategy, brand advertising, interactive communications, as well as direct marketing solutions and, in so doing, helped strengthen their dominant market share and volume.  Dave's work earned the company a 2008 Effie Award, the industry's premier recognition for marketing and advertising effectiveness.  In addition, Dave helped direct State Farm's Young Adults, Women's  and sports marketing efforts, helping inject energy and relevance to the brand in these important areas.

Prior to leading the State Farm business, Dave led the agency's McDonald's U.S. business.  In that role, Dave helped set McDonald's overall marketing strategy and calendar and delivered communications solutions for brand initiatives, new product launches and consumer events.  Dave led the U.S. launch McDonald's first-ever global brand campaign, the DDB-created "i'm lovin' it," which helped McDonald's earn Advertising Age's 2004 Marketer of the Year award, which continues to build sales and market share today.

Dave is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is a member of the Aji Network, a business professionals program certified as Executive M.B.A. by General Electric.  Dave lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three daughters.
